Attention APUSH Students: I have uploaded AUDIO NOTES for content covered in your readings from August through this week. Each file is about 23 minutes long and will review the BIG IDEAS that you should now know after reading chapters 1-5 in your textbook. I have e-mailed the password to access these audio files to you @ the e-mail address you provided me this summer. If you have any problems accessing the audio notes, please contact me and let me know. Enjoy your Labor Day Weekend and I will see you on Wednesday. – Mr. B
Attention AP Students:
If you refer to the summer assignment I mailed to you in July you will notice the reading assignment for the week of August 16 – 22 is Chapter 3 in the textbook Out Of Many AND Document Packet #1. I noted that I would make document packet #1 available in the main office starting on August 17. However, I have decided it would be easier to make Document Packet #1 available here at Mr-Baldwin.com.

You do NOT have to write the essay. Instead, use the documents to help you answer the Food For Thought Questions For Week 3.
Don’t forget this week’s AP Survival Skills Seminar will cover how to read and understand documents for APUSH. Hope to see you on Monday at 2 PM. This file is a .pdf file and requires the free adobe reader. Most computers already have this.
If You have any problems accessing these documents, contact me ASAP. Thanks.
The attached document is a checklist of all the major topics we will cover this year in APUSH.

I know, I know. You are on summer vacation. So, what’s up with this summer assignment? Well, we have so much content to cover in APUSH, that we must start in August in order to finish. Additionally, many states across the country start school in August. New York starts in September. However, the AP EXAM is given the SAME DAY in May for students all across the country. So, in order to have the same preparation time as students in other states, we must get started in August. Don’t worry. I promise you can complete the AP summer assignment and still have a blast this summer!
